I am an amateur astronomer and have always had an interest in photography. So when my dad handed me down his archaic minolta srt 101 I thought I'd try my hand at some astrophotos. I've been hooked on nocturnal photography ever since. Since the light meter on my camera hasn't worked for the last couple years, I have shot mostly in the night time. I am 24, and consider my self fortunate to be living in beautiful, photogenic Alberta, Canada. Update: Well, after years of neglect, I finally took my batterred old camera in for a good cleaning. I now have a functioning light meter!!! It is exciting to have the ability to take daytime photos. Still, I plan on focusing my attentions to astrophotography. I am nocturnal by nature, and will always be infatuated with the night sky.
