I've been into photography since I was a kid, and starting playing around in the darkroom with stuff from my first 35 mm Canon SLR 30 years ago in high school. I've had a much renewed interest in photography starting in April of 1999 when I bought my first Digital Camera, an Olympus D400G. A year later I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 990 and several lenses, and proceeded to take over 50,000 images over the next two years. Next I upgraded to my first digital SLR, the Canon EOS D60 and am appreciating the niceties of getting back to using the wide range of 35mm lenses available. I subsequently upgraded to the Canon EOS 10D in February of 2003, and then to the Canon EOS 20D in December of 2004. My passion is nature photography, but I am also fasinated with capturing motion in long exposures, such as moving trains and cars. I have really enjoyed the warm and helpful atmosphere of PhotoSig, you folks are great!
