Critique was a regular part of my schooling and (in my opinion) my eyes have been "trained" to be very critical concerning the technical and compositional aspects of photographs. I prefer constructive criticism and critique to unsupported praise any day, and would like to offer the same to other photographers.
DISCLAIMER: I use my "three thumbs up" spairingly as I can almost always find something that can be improved in a photograph. (This community is supposed to be an instrument for feedback and learning, not to see who gets the most points!). Don't expect any blank, "nice job", "beautiful pic", or simple "more DOF" comments from me! In return for the time I spend on critiquing photos, all I ask is that you return the favor or let me know if my comments are of any assistance (or why you may or may not agree with me).
I believe that the best way to learn more about photography and improving our skills is to learn through experiences of (our own and) others. I spent some time on arranging some of my knowledge and experiences (with photography) into an occasional article, so give them a peek if you will.
Enough said (I tend to ramble). I look forward to some great (and not so great) photography and the feedback and information I can delve from you!
