I joined PhotoSig in the Spring 2002, primarily to enjoy the photos and to do critiques... For me it is a sort of mini 'vacation on line' thing ,as well as inspiration for my paintings. I also wanted to learn tips on taking better pictures and how to review and critique photos and art.
I have been 'developing' many new interests online and I am enjoying photography more and more.
When I have the chance to visit here, I randomly choose thumbnails from the first page and do critiques as well as review critiques, there as much as I am able.
I try to never leave a critique without a suitable comment and where I may lack in technical skills, I certainly can appreciate from an artistic view the photos that I see.. I know what I like and try to consider what my customers would like as well when sorting through art and photographs.
I love seeing photos from all over the world displaying such a variety techniques and quality...I am finding photography a fascinating new hobby and am improving with it... but first and foremost I am an artist. I have been learning how to do digital paintings and repainted enhancement as well as printing art & photos as giclee prints, art trading cards and stationery and selling them online.
I have really been learning alot from my new friends at the Photosig site...and making new friends all the time.Now I have arrived at a place where I can and do help other artists and share what I have been learning online over the last several years.

My favorite pics to view here at PhotoSig, are mountains and oceans along with baby pics... I can thoroughly enjoy a mountain spring or floral meadow and macros are fascinating to me... They inspire me in my artwork and stimulate my creativity.I started a group within my network, specifically for PhotoSig members to join me at and hope to see you there soon.
