I've been an off and on amateur photographer for the last 20 years or so. I tend to be drawn to more abstract and emotive photography, but will appreciate any photo on its own merits. I like PhotoSIG a great deal, as I'm not trying to simply share photos or gather points, but to always get better as a photographer. To this end, I really appreciate thoughtful critiques, whether they are Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down, as these give me an understanding of how others view my work whether good or bad.
