A note from Willis: IntelliJ IDEA is the Java integrated development environment that I have used to maintain photoSIG since 2002. It has a wide array of features that are very useful for building web applications. If you're developing Java software then I encourage you to give it a try.

I am returning to taking photography seriously after a 25 year break and so much has changed! I am slowly getting to grips with the digital technology but of course the underlying truths of a good photograph haven't changed just how you get there.
UK based, live and work in the country, not near any big towns so mine is a small world in many ways!
Just a small update after a while here. I have learnt a lot here and enjoyed the banter as well all the support and encouragement some members have given freely. The arguments have been pretty good too.
One thing I would say is that when I give a critique while I always appreciate a return I don't expect it as there may nothing there that you feel you can contribute on.
