Was teacher of Biology and Fysics. Do inventories of birds, wild plants and fungi. Have two nature-area's to control, a wetland with moors and a forest. Followed a roebuck from his birth till his death and wrote the book Corro the Roebuck(in Dutch). Write every week a page about Nature and Environment in the local newspaper. Book about naturehistory in connection with culturehistory of City Hoogeveen(Holland). Hoogeveen means Highmoor.
