I am new in photography ... just got the Canon Rebel XT and I am trying to figure out how to use it. My previous camera was the SONY DSC-F717.
I have never being interested in photography before, taking I mean, but was mesmerized by it when with the Sony I started to take pictures of flowers ... My attention was drawn immediately to things that I had never stoped to realize were so beautiful ... colors, shapes ... I started to see them through the lens of the camera and I have being thankful for it ever since.
I have browsed through this forum many times, and seen and enjoyed time an again excellent macro photographs and others. This is the first time I have the courage to place any of mine. I have decided to call this portfolio Close ups because macro is a much more serious term that as I understand refers to images that are often unreachable to the naked eye. I am looking forward to buy a macro lens as soon as I can afford it, and to read your comments. Thank you in advance
