Wonderful image, I have been there several times and enjoy every trip! You were lucky to get a clear shot without people, I have seen this area very busy!

Very intresting formations of the frost. I just moved from Florida to New England (MA)...so I am hoping to find new and intresting winter shots. As for the background, It's natural..ya, guess you could have placed a black backdrop behind it and made it pop a bit more, but I still enjoy it the way it is.

Well captured just at the right time...better to have captured him on the shingles then not at all. Good details and just enough DOF. I like the blue sky behind the bug, good pov or you might have lost the details of the bug!
Have a great day,

Very nice bird image. Difficult getting details in white feathers..would have also liked to see the background a bit less detailed as I am a bit distracted by the branch coming straight up from the birds head, still a very nice shot and unusual post he is sitting on!

Hey David,
Very sharp, I like the branch...great texture. I thought it was a black and white at first...really like the background and how it gets darker at the bottom. dof falls off just a bit on the tail...Still,
Very cool shot! A 400mm Canon lens is my next lens to buy...doing what I can with my 70-200 2.8L but really want the longer lens.

Hello Janet,
As the photo loaded, the first thing that I noticed was the reflection in her eye...I think I see you!
Wonderful details have been captured in the feathers standing out so crisp from the background. First Hooded Merganser I have ever seen as far as I know.

Great feather details and sharpness..his beak looks a bit soft. Good job with a clean background to prevent any distractions. I was looking at the reflections in his eye...thought I might see you! Regards, Bill C.

Very nice portrait of you cat Jessie, I like the dark blue background. I kind of wish her whiskers did not get lost on the photos right side. Love the tounge sticking out! Regards, Bill C.

Very cool image, captured just at the right moment..I agree with your own comment about both wings being in focus. So tough to get that much depth of field with a longer lens, plus needed the quickest shutter to stop all that motion. I spent Sat afternoon trying to capture some mid flight images and it's a good challange. Regards, Bill C.

Hi Tim,
I like the color of the sky and water...and I think the tree in the foreground works ok. IMO.. I would have rather not had all the cars on the beach, but I guess thats out of your control. Regards, Bill C.

This is a nice attempt...first thing my eye saw was that the 'circle' made by the double strip moves out of the top of the frame. Second was that all the points did not line up well enough to make a perfect circle in the middle. Also the Dof is bit short. I have never tried this, and I doubt that I would have the patience to set up the shot. I like the color against the dark back ground. Bill C.

I have a few humming bird shots...and boy do they move quick. I like the colors in you photo..wing blur or freeze the wings is always a debate. I have done both, with strobe or very fast shutter...in any case. Thanks for your comments on my image! Regards Bill C.
