Nice shot, I do agree with the face issue, though I think it probably was the make up, one other thing when shooting a face or portrait, one should ensure both eyes are visible

Welcome, though al the elements for the proper image are there the shot as stated before is a tad flat, I do like the use of the foreground sticks to add to the shot. All in all the shot is nice, and describes the river very nicely.

I agree the crop is too tight and the images fall away this way. One of the things that I was always taught is not to let things fly in space, as the feet do.
The color is nice and you might want to add a hair light if you have the availability.

I like the edginess of the image, the tone of black add to the feel of the image and the soft focus complements this. The tight crop pulls the viewer in to see the person on display. Not sure yet about the blown highlites on the lips.

I really like the composition of the three together, the images complement each other. What really works for me is the balance of images and the striking sky. Really nice…..

The color, the DOF, the scene all blend to make this a Great shot. The light is setting just about right to make the image one of the ones that will stand out... Very nice job J....

Cool contrast of the blue to the fins on the condenser. I like the depth of field that you show..

Nice shot of the channel and the lights, very nice capture. The calm of the river add to the feel of the image. The image is sharp and the contrast is very nice for this. One thought, I would have waited for the extra minute for the ferry to be all in the shot.
All in all.. Nice

Beautiful soft feel of the image and a solitude to it. The image is great, though I would have liked a diffrent angle to the shot. More? - shallow this would have lengthened the wood of the wall more. Maybe...
All in all very nice....

Though a beautiful image, the shot is way to busy. As with some of the other comments, a little less DOF might have made the the page stopper that it could have been.
All in all very nicely composed and crisp.

Excellent image, piont edge sharpness. The colors jump off the page and the reflection is right on. Very nice position on the frame, wonder was this a crop?

Very intresting composition, I like the feel of the material and the detail that you are trying to express of this panel and hasp. IMHO the image should be pin sharp and the DOF accross the whole range of the image. Colors are nice and the image did catch the eye.. Nice work...

Beautiful image.. IMHO My only thought is that the sky is so flat it distracts from the overall image. The balance is nice and the DOF is on. Nice scene and nice observation point, might wait for another day when the sky has some depth to it.

The overall power of the moment is so destracting, Well here we go...
Balance of the crop is slightly off, more below and less top, and move to the right. The DOF is nice. Colors are nice though a little flat.
With that done.. deep feeling and emotion is what makes this image..
