Nice idea and well executed too. Lovely reflections and nicely composed too. Good job and nice photo.

Really nice idea and one that could work very well, but I don't think it's been executed quite well enough here. Maybe placed on a black cloth shooting down onto them with high contrast would work better. Certainly worth playing with. Good creative thinking.

Interesting idea to make the background so different, but in this case it's a little too different. The brightness dominates the scene and the orchid has nothing its rooted to, as though it's pasted in, which I am sure it isn't.

As said below its pretty much a direct copy of someone else's idea. Which isn't always a bad thing, but it has to be slightly different with maybe your own twist on it?

Nice shot. Great colour, powerful lines and some interesting reflections to break up the patterns in the scene.

interesting scene, but i'd prefer the shot of the guy without the bull, or at such an angle where it's not such a main feature as the guy makes the shot for me.

interesting shot and interesting angle. would have been nice to have had more striking light and maybe something more of a focal point outside the fall.

always going to be difficult when you are shooting right at the sun, which is why you have the dark water and the blown highlights in the sky. tilted horizon too.

nice cute subjects, but really needs to be pin sharp on both birds if they are both in the shot. Maybe a lower angle without the front rock would be nice.

sorry if this sounds harsh, Alex, but this one doesn't work for me. As an indoor still life, the very least it should be is all in focus as there is all the time in the world to focus it, yet the grapes at the front are clearly soft. The lighting also needs to be controlled but there is some strong reflected light from the shell giving areas of blown highs. There are also bits of dust just to the left of the shell. The blue isn't to my taste, but that's purely personal,...

Sometimes such shots can work quite nicely from behind, but I think in this case, it needed to be from in front to see more action and detail. Nicely composed otherwise.

Nice attempt at a tough shot, but the dof is Much too shallow here. A smaller aperture or even some stacking would have helped here.

i quite like this. As does my daughter who just saw it. The reflection is nice nice and the mono is good, but i'd prefer it with a crop of the top by maybe a quarter and maybe a slice off the right.

pleasant enough scene, but the dust spots don't help, as doesn't the tilted horizon. Would be nice at a different time of day also.

I think this scene has great potential. It has two cracking subjects with the fishermen and the pair of trees, but the current crop seems to be trying to include both, and it's a case of too many elements for me. The scene itself is beautifully soft with delightful light, well captured. But I would either make it about the fishermen and go in closer on them, or focus attention on the trees and maybe just include the single left man. Would have been nice to get close and...
