i like that you went black and white with this but seems a bit over saturated and distorts some of the brighter areas. a little cropping off the right looks like it could help the overall composition. tx4sharing. - ron

pretty spot. this does lack some sharpness and you could crop off the top. your horizon line is a bit too centered for my taste but this will resolve with top cropping. i also like frames for this photo. tx4sharing. - ron

this came out very nice. really good coloring with the HDR technique. Two things I would consider are cropping the lower left to remove what looks like part of a wooden structure and maybe adding frames to this. however this is just taste - nice job. tx4sharing. - ron

i really like this. excellent sharpness...especially the tree branches. maybe (living in NYC) i am yearning for some snow myself. i liked that you didn't crop off the top. i would suggest maybe vertical frames - they may add a bit...but nice photo...tx4sharing...rjr

nice angle. i think maybe a little over processed. i am curious, did you use a neutral density filter when shooting this? i think vertical frameswould enhance hte overall composition as well. tx4sharing

very nice photo and good sharpness. what strikes me is the contrast between the labor of fisherman sharing the water with the (apparently) recreational swimmers in teh back ground. nice use of frames. tx4sharing.

nice simple photo. not so interesting but composition good. would add some sharpness to enhance it a bit. not sure if i would have gone with a white frame but like that you used a frame. a little cropping to bring the lift a little closer. on a side note - this warm winter is not good for the ski industry in general ; (...tx4sharing.

marc - i see what you are doing here - but as you have noted - much too busy in the center. i am not sure if you added sharpness if it would make it slightly less busy - but as noted - tough shot to pull off. add sharpness and maybe adde frames - then you can put it on your wall ; )...tx4sharing

steve this is a nice landscape photo. the sharpness is very good - especially on the rocks and mountains. it looks like a thin frame - i maybe would have tried a 1% more frame. i would be curious on your photo settings...tx4sharing

i appreciate what your are going for with the added noise tho i do prefer the original. i think this version would be enhanced with the use of frames you used on the original. maybe just a bit too much noise in this version. it's all art - and just a matter of taste...tx4sharing.

centered focus seems to not work so well for the eye since there is no real DOF or back ground. even the focal points could use some more sharpness. difficult to say this does much for me as is. maybe B&W would be better for me...just opinion...tx4sharing.

cute name for the photo. i would have liked to see a little off center - closer to the rule of thirds - cropping the left where there seems to be a tablet on the rock would be the place to crop. the sharpness looks ok - possibly could use a bit more and i think frames would also help...tx4sharing.

a pretty good picture. sharpness seems OK. the reflections is nice as well. composition (off center) is done nicely. i would say that no people in it is better. i would have done a different frame than the one you chose. definitely not a thumbs down photo - that was a little bit harsh. tx4sharing.
