this image looks like it could be part of a computer game with the contrast between the foreground and background being so different. the foreground is very grounded. it is architectural and precise although a little dark. the sky however is pure fantasy. that grey "line" between the two needs some attention to resolve the two elements, because that is where the break/devision occurs. solve that and you have a very interesting image.

i love the shapes and form of your rose, unfortunately good focus does not extend over the whole of the image. those rain (?) drops add an element of interest as they provide a magnifying effect o part of the petal allowing us to it's texture

what an amazing playground. love the ancient architecture, the square opening with an arch behind, suggesting layers of meaning in his play. i find the shadow a little too dark.

i am assuming that this is a peat bog. the overturned peat resembles a strange prehistoric plant which gives this a other worldly feel. maybe the irish green ( afterall this is the emerald isle) could be saturated slightly, particularly the bottm left "triangle".

this image as a thumbnail leaps off the "page", and is so much better at full size. what experience is etched in each line on her face. beautifully lit and posed. thanx for allowing me to view this and be inspired.

Hagia Sofia what magnificence, this is definately on my bucket list. architecturally this is a masterpiece but it's structure is not really visible from this really wide view. your image is amazing, such width but no height. this place is huge. probably the only way to show it is as you have done, unfortunately i can only talk from my theoretical knowledge, so good one to you.

monochrome always catches my eye.the rock is well positioned compositionally with good sharpness and tones. the only thing i could suggest to improve this is to use an even slower shutter speed which would blur the water even more. that obviously would be a reshoot, but a small dose of photoshop blur could achieve the same effect. wonderful sense of movement.

huge contrast which this scene can take. i love the action of the diving figure which is well placed compositionally. you have used the fisheye to good effect its "distortion" holds everything together. everything is sharp and well placed. great sense of place.

the colour of the water was what first drew my eye. on viewing the big picture i find that the clouds, while beautifully detailed don't match the lighting of the foreground which suggests a sunny day. somehow i don't feel the impending storm. well shot .

this has a great sense of place. your lighting shows off the textured wall beautifully. I am not so sure of that grain structure in the sky, kinda distracts.

beautiful creamy tones. love the diagonal composition and that black background sets off the flowers to great effect. focus and that semi transparency , i'm speachless.

Interesting structures which i suspect are old bridge pylons. They have enough interest to hold your attention. the calm water and sky adds a subtle contrast to the view. As a monochrome i think that you could push the contrast even more and make the image really "jump".

Great sense of place, i feel that i've been there. Your lighting has let you down ( not always easy to choose when you are travelling) by creating a rather dark foreground. I guess this would be the time to role a photoreal HDR image.

Great action, could happen to anyone. Love the reaction of the bride trying to catch the champaqne disbelief on the two "attendants". Your lighting although over bright at the window, on the right, has given some beautiful side lighting to the wedding dress bringing out all the lace detail. This kind of shot cannot be planned for, one must "merely" be aware and ready for all possibilities. Well done.
