a couple things bother me. the color and toning of the image and the lighting on her face. HOWEVER, it is those two things that somewhat actually draw me in to the photo. there's a reason why that bothers me but with the solid background, the lower angle and the strong crop, it all seems very intentional and seems to actually work somehow. So good job. tommy

Enrique, i like this shot. the color separating the photo almost reminds me of a flag. nice shape and nice use of contrasting colors as well. i also like that in the yellow part there is blue speckled throughout. the boys shirt and hair also match nicely. tommy

this is an amazing image. i love how sharp he is and the wings are slightly blurry. that's a beautiful image! however the flowers on the left almost detract and deduct from it's value i think. i think the simpler the better. I know it's his environment but here i think the faint plant in the back makes the perfect scene and the flowers on the left just kind of take away from the scene. a personal preference. tommy

this is really pretty. it reminds me of kansas 100%. i like the light. my only suggestion is to shoot at a much wider angle and add some foreground interest. tommy

I like everything about this photo except where it's placed. i like the lighting, the composition. i just think if it were on a different piece of wood or a different texture, the photo would be improved greatly. tommy

i consider this bordering on abstract but i don't see the emotive aspect to it. to me what would really increase interest in something like this is to have the background darkened either by blocking the light or by adding more light to the front, exposing for the front and then directing the light from the side. that would add a lot more interest. perhaps a lower vantage point as well. tommy

Really nice framing and composition. Eye is lead to the woman but because she is almost completely in shadow it makes it seem mysterious but she does not seem like a mysterious subject so it in a sense sends mixed signals

normally i'd say this seems really gray and not black and white. however while i still feel this way somewhat. the fact that he seems so gloomy it sort of fits the mood. tommy

an interesting photo of very cute children. my issue is with the extremely tight crop. i think the child at the bottom is so cropped that it is a distraction. i'd love to see their reaction as well. even if you did crop the face it would be fine but this is too much. also the image is too grey. i would suggest a bit more white in their skin tones. i'd suggest lightening luminance or adjusting levels. tommy

my impression of this image is that it was a much wider crop but was cropped in very close. there is a tremendous amount of noise as well that doesn't look good to me. it is slightly interesting but unfortunatly the noise issue in particular really distracts. tommy

i'd like this shot a lot more with more interesting lighting. the lighting is adequate but it isn't interesting. perhaps from the side or just use back lighting and properly expose for the face. i think this would increase the mood here. tommy

lighting is going to make all the difference for this type of shot. front light it like this and you'll get theharshness you see plus it will accentuate the cloth, which makes this look unappealing. i would suggest natural light coming from the direction of the baby's head and you'll see this will be much more appealing. I would also suggest that light be very soft and diffuse. tommy

very interesting scene, must have been exciting to photograph. the only suggestion i would make is i think a wider angle showing more of the action would be more interesting for a photograph like this. tommy

this is decent. however, it seems a bit high exposure wise. also i'd prefer to see her head turned a little more to the camera. her expression also looks slightly unrelaxed. tommy

your editing has destroyed the image in my opinion. especially when dealing with skin, i find it a negative thing to edit to this degree, i am not as against editing images, extreme if it's on things other than humans, but when it comes to skin, i find this very amateur and unpleasant. sorry if this is offensive. just want to help. tommy
