Very nice photo Daniel. I like the different layers, each with their own colour schemes and textures. Colours are very natural, though. Have really nothing to say which I think could improve the photo. Thanks for sharing. Fritz

Another excellent, eartly photo, Afshin. Its all about life, its textures and its basic requirements. Colours, textures, composition are all very good in my book. It is between a 2TU and 3TU for me. You chose to wide angle to include a lot of the environment, but that has resulted in the left arm being a bit disturbingly out of proposrtion (hence the 2TU). I am not sure whether one can achieve something with a curve distort - will try one day. Regards Fritz

A very nice photo, Martin Unlike the previous reviewer, I find it refreshing that the focus is not on a main element, but that the viewer has the opportunity to follow different story threads. And the stories the image triggers are very intersting. The flower pots and partially painted balcony posts. Then there is a general theme of grooming (clothing and people, all set in a background of decay - the grooming trying to resist the decay, but only managing to a limited...

You've managed to capture a lovely atmosphere, Robert. Exposure is good and the time of day is perfect. The 8 sec exposure results in some of the boats being quite badly blurred. It does disturb me. I think it would have been better to increase the ISO from ISO 100 to perhaps ISO 800. I also would have liked just a fraction more space on the left. Thanks for sharing. Fritz

Intersting atmosphere you have been able to create with this photo through the colours and textures. The centered composition with the framing works well here. Thanks for sharing. Fritz

Nice one, Sinisa I like the composition. The 5 sec shutterspeed works well, giving the photo the required dynamics. Putting the stream on the diagonal increases the perception of movement. Like the detail in the moss and the stones in the forground. Colours are good and exposure is too. The edges of the dark stones at the top of the stream do bother me a little though.

Very interesting abstract, Artur I know the critique is late but your latest submission made me look at your portflio. A lot of details within an intersting composition. Would add the category abstract I would have no problem hanging it up on my wall - hence 3TUs. Thanks for sharing. Fritz

i like the photo. The composition is very strong. I also like the includion of the bit of fresh green on the top of the frame. Exposure is tricky with the relatively high dynamic range, but you were able to maintain detail across most of the darker and ligher areas of the image. Colours are good. Thanks for sharing Fritz

This is excellent, Yuskel and I find that it is not easy to capture mist like that. The choice of roads. The person declining to take the road leading to a more clearly defined and closer destination (the building in the mist), but happy to take the challange of the unknown (the black void at the end of the right line). Would be happy to hang this up on my wall any day - hence 3TUs. Thanks for sharing Fritz

I quite like the photo with the path providing a nice compositional element. I feel, however, that the photo is too tightly cropped on both sides, left and right (particularly right). Regards Fritz

Very nice, natural looking HDR. You are using HDR purely to retain detail in the snow and in the inside of the carriages. Excellently executed. Composition works well too, leading in from the left corner and in a zig-zag to the church. Fritz

Interesting photo, Mike The loneliness of the person is contrasted against the vibrant social scene in the poster behind him. His only interaction with society is through the computer. That loneliness is strengthened by the large amount of space and the natural vignetting effect provided by the darker surrounding. I think the composition could potentially be improved. I would move close, starting the frame at the corner of the first brick block (the diamonds providing a...

I like the layering in the photo and also the zig-zag element of the composition. I think, however, that the composition could be improved by moving a bit more t the left and mving the peak in the distance out of the centre. Lighting is not ideal. Manipulating the curve so that the grradient is a bit steaper in the high information regions and flatter in those regions where there is little information helps (I tried it). Finally, the photo could also be a little sharper -...

Such a simple idea - to take multiple interesting frames and stack them to form a pattern. Your fine white line separation line is sufficient to be honest, yet non-intrusive enough to present the stacked photo as a single composition. The photo could be sharper. Fritz
