I like the photo and I particularly like the nice catchlight in her right eye. The pose is nice and I like the direct look. If her skin really is that smooth, then the photo is definitely worth 2TU. However, if the skin has been smoothed as I suspect, then my impression that the skin is rather unrealistic justifies my final reaction of 1TU. I'm not saying don't smooth skin imperfections, but I favor a subtle approach, and in this case the skin just looks manipulated. TFS....

I like the photo but in my opinion the brown vertical door edge at far right is a bit distracting. Her right hand is adjacent to a defect in the paint and my eyes are drawn there a bit as well. I think eye contact could be better.

I quite like the photo and zoomed in I can read the Royal Doulton on the far right. It does tell a story of times gone by. It's not a WOW for me but it does hold my attention and make me think about historical events, etc. If you did not use a tripod, I suggest that you consider using one for such a photo in the future. I think the photo is technically interesting but I personally feel that the hair is almost a distraction. I wonder if a faster shutter speed might have yielded a look that would be more interesting. Regards. Bill

I like the found subject that hits the mark for me as I too return to photosig. Thanks for posting this. It is humorous and has positively influenced me even more to consider photos of damaged goods. TFS. Bill

I like the photo. However it seems to me that the girl on the left may be squinting a tiny bit and she also has apparently not a touch of makeup in contrast to the other girl. Nicely done. Bill

I like the subject and framing. However, I would reduce the contrast substantially. It is too bright and white for my tastes. TFS. Bill

The photo is excellent. I (of course) like the straight overhead point of view. The composition is simple and effective and unusual rather than something we have seen again and again. I am left thinking that one might plan the arrangement of the chairs to allow for another version should the snowy weather cooperate. Having taken this photo, I might venture outside, arrange the three chairs with space between the lower right two and then wait for snow to patch up the...

I like this photo more than the other one of the same model. The catchlights could be more interesting. The crop into the hair is well chosen in my opinion. I don't think the background graffiti adds to the photo but I don't object to it either. I might have tried to completely include the flower without clipping the petals at the lower frame edge. TFS. I like the photo for several reasons. The iron fence adds context to the snow covered vehicles. The person walking through the composition adds to the documentary shot. I would like this a bit more if we could see a little bit more of his/her face. The depth of snow is the best element because it almost makes the vehicles not look like they are what the are. I would make sure that the snow is rendered as white as practical. TFS. Bill

I think the dark sky adds considerable interest. I'm not so sure that I like the stray wire coming from the lamp assembly in near center location. The various reflections are good and none of them overwhelms another. I like the lighter zone at upper left a lot. The primary diagonal is excellent and the minor diagonal from the lower frame edge adds interest. I would enjoy this as a print for long term viewing. TFS. Bill it would be great to meet up sometime soon.

The photo is well done and the choice of three tree trunks is noted as a positive for good impact. I like the DOF that allows us to see other trees on the left without drawing too much attention. It seems that you may have manipulated the photo using some artistic filter, but I am not sure of that. I don't see anything on the tree trunks that is distinctly in focus, but that doesn't seem to matter. There is a bit of an Abstract quality that appeals to me. TFS. Bill

The photo is very well done. I like the direct eye contact and the central position of the model. The door is an interesting prop. I might have requested that the model remove the wrist band and change her grip on the door to perhaps show more of the tips of the fingers; both are nip picking. The smile is simple and appealing. The apparent use of fill flash is well managed. TFS. Bill

The lighting is a bit strange in my opinion; including the shadow below her chin. The blown out area between her right arm and hair is unfortunate. Gray "dusty" elements over her right shoulder could be cloned out. I think that the "golden hour" lighting has been overwhelmed by the added lighting in a way that I feel harmed the end result. TFS. I like it as an Abstract even though the subject (automobile) seems fairly obvious. I suggest that it could be better if the one triangle did not end touching the lower frame. Things that are tangent can be an issue and in this case I would like a small amount of additional content at the bottom. I do like it and the grittiness is a big plus. Is the general pitting real, or added, or enhanced? Bill
