You've got a pretty good studio portrait here. Although I find the face overly white/bright. I like the off center position of the subject, and the landscape orientation, I think it adds to her dynamic. I would tend to crop more intentionally from the top. I would get her to work on her mouth expression. Wider smile or less, I don't think seeing the dark areas in her mouth are flattering. Good work.

I think this needs work. I think you need to be more clear in your execution. Are you trying to do a macro nature record shot of this flower? or is it a composition that includes the entire flower. or a soft work or art? It's a common flower, shot in a way most people see it. Unfortunately that makes for a pretty ordinary and uninteresting perspective. Consider shooting the flower from a direction most of us don't see it from, underneath, from the side, looking directly...

This is a common subject presented in a common way. Technically it does not appear to be sharp. I think if you are going to choose a common subject and present it in a classic way you have to nail it on all accounts, sharpness, colour, composition etc. If you were trying for a painterly look you need to push it more in that direction. I'm not sure if you used a tripod here, but if not it would have helped with sharpness, a wider aperture would have blurred the...

The pose isn't accenting her legs, no curve to her calves, or ankles. Nice styling on the ripped pantyhose. Back area of the shower stall seems over bright. Personally I would remove the bra, and shower tools in post, they aren't necessary. I'd want to make it all about her.

I think the photo here is in the middle, the foreground isn't adding anything, and in fact I find the pink sky distracting. I find the strongest part of this image in the middle. I wish it were sharper so that we had more detail in the hills.

The light here is uninteresting and overly bright it's not adding anything. Subject isn't engaged with anything or anyone, looks like you caught her walking by, and the background is too evident. The colourful clothing isn't enough. She could be an interesting subject but the way you have captured her here is uninteresting. I think the issue is wrong time of day, wrong direction, wrong angle, and poor timing.

This is an interesting subject, and I do like your subtle HDR treatment. But I think the composition is static and makes the entire image lean towards the mundane. I think a shallower DOF would have made the tractor stand out more, as it is now the entire image is in focus and the background competes with the tractor. You could also try shooting from different perspectives, higher or lower, wider to show the tractor in a way we don't often see. And you don't always need to...

I love the youthful joie de vivre approach to your photography. It's fun, it's real and it's intelligent. And it is an awesome break from the some of the monotony of chocolate box type photos that sometimes swamp this place. The techs here are pretty good, seems sharp to me, not a fan of the lighting, but that could be because I'm usually taking flattering portraits, not one's making fun of the subject lol so if that is your intent it's a howling success. It's...

You've created a soft romantic atmosphere. The lighting is well done. Her pose and expression really suit the mood you've created. The bright white curtains at the side could possibly be cropped out a bit more. I find that white line and the pink lacy panties distracting, they keep drawing my eye away from her face. I think it's a much stronger photograph cropped to the waist.

High marks for creativity here from me. Rich colours, good detail and a perfect composition for this fanciful rendition of a lily. I feel that the added "stars" could be better executed. The larger white ones are just a tad too much. Nice to see something different!!

You have an interesting subject here but the resulting photograph is uninteresting. The desaturated tones have an unappealing effect on the subject's skin. The brightest spot in the photo is her front teeth which are central in the photograph making them more prominent than they need to be. My eyes tend to go there first and then back again. The eyes which is what my eyes should be drawn to lack any light at all and have a dark lackluster appearance. And it appears the...

You've really managed to capture the atmosphere here Daniel. Delicate colours, repeating lines in the misty trees. The dark trunk on our right is out of place in this gentle composition.

This is good work. Interesting animal peering at us. Good focus, good detail in the feathers, a little more light in his eyes would be perfection. The other issue I note is that in this type of composition there is nothing here to give me any scale. He could be mini owl or humungous owl :-)

Interesting view of the bird. His shoulders almost make it look like the face of an owl. Unfortunately he isn't landing on a very interesting or photogenic spot.

This is pretty interesting, I like the effect you got here by panning. The light was very nice. I'm not sure about some of the effect around the outline of the bird (legs, head), did you help this long with Photoshop?
