hello Gary, the scene is good, really not bad. But problem is too flat lighting and unimpressive sky/cloud which made this shot as an common shot. it would be better to wait more clear sky with cloud, or to use CPL filter

hi brian, it would be quite nice to live in Greece islands or Cyprus after retiring. I love the shot and I think the exposure is not bad at all, white wall is just before white out. There would be a problem from scanning. My only comment is I prefer a little wider crop to include blue sky more, but maybe it will be more streotype siightseeing shot of Aegean islands.

very nice shot with excellent pose of silhouette and orage lighting, only thing I can comment is rings of background that come from resizing. I think that can be avoided by changing comperssion ratio

hi joel, I also like to take flower photos. at here, I think the lighting of front right side is too strong and too flat. I would prefer to add back light and left front to make this more impressive.

very nice scene at ideal timing with splendid colors and nice composition, this kind of condition would be not so usual even in Canada. But as commented before sharpness is not sufficient, and I rather prefer little under exposed to make the scene more dramatic,

hi David, very classic but decent portrait of a beatiful lady, I specifically like the dof and very sharp and clear blue eyes,
Maybe this is my first comment on your photo, but i always njoy yours, bye

excellent scene, I would prefer to crop the sky that is not so impressive and affected to exposure of the tulips, and noises on the flowers are too much. It seems ISO sensitivity is too high.

hi david, this my critique is little too late but I really like this portrait of the lovely lady, her expression, strong back lightling but still adequate exposure on her eyes, so beautiful eyes, ---regards

hi kenneth, I really like the shot. composition and dof is perfect for the great landscape and timing/lighting of sunrise (or sunset) is dramatic. I never been canyon, and wish to see by my eyes.

I wonder why your photo here is critiqued by a few, I like the composition and proper exposure to catch the spot light on the flower. dof is also nice.

I like the lighting condition, the swan is lit by sunset warm light with dark almost black background. exposure control is very nice, and could not find a problem on focus.

hi, Patrick. nice composition of a goose with very good wing position. by the way, I've seen your portfolio and found your taste is quite similar with me, objects and also camera, though I abandoned my E20 far earlier than you.
bye, Takeshi

you took very nice scene with an exactly right timing and nice composition. but I feel dof seems too shallow and sharpness is not enough especialy for foreground stones. But according to your description, it should not be a case, may be coming from scanner.
