Hi Matthew and wellcome to PSIG.
I think that with a bit of patience you can get some useful comment here.
"Project", these is the right word in photography: learn the technic is more simple than create an idea and find the way to realize it.
On the image, I think that a vertical frame work better because there are many vertical lines. The background is a bit too much detailed: a large aperture, with a longer lens, can blur it a bit and leave the attention to the...

Hi Tara and wellcome to PSIG. I think that these image has two problem: the first is the lost of details in the grass, second the subject is underexpose. May be that moving the POV a bit on the right can improve the quality. As composition, the force is in the symmetry that have to be improved a bit. Regards, Stefano.

Hi Rui, I gave a sight to your portfolio and basically see that your problem is to better find and underline the subject. Here for example there are too many elements that disturb the composition, and the exposure don't help catching out the person. Keep trying composing in a "light" way with fewer items inside. Regards, Stefano

For me it was better if you concentrate only on the church and the smog. Some step on the left to having the street lamp out of the church and hiding (instead to show) the neon cross. A vertical crop can emphasize the verticality of the church and the movement of the smog. Regards, Stefano.

These image has some problem. The subject (the flowers on the top right i suppose) are too little to gain attention. The rest of the plant isn't significant and not well captured. But the big problem is the background: well blurred to avoid attention, it contains an element that is disturbing, the person. The horizon little tilted seems an error than a particular framing. Regards, Stefano.

What isn't perfect here are the light shadow of the roof on the right, that you can "eliminate" waiting around 15 min, and the bottom of the door too much near the bottom of the photo. Composition and exposure are ok. Regards, Stefano

I like the geometric composition, with triangles that recall each other. Good exposure and use of long time. I prefered a different color, like a warm sepia or a cold light blue. Regards, Stefano.

Hi Wanda and wellcome to PSIG.
Not bad for a first time photo! The composition is perfect and exposure a bit too dark (but it can depend by the monitor).

Not original but well done. Composition and exposure are ok. The sand (?) on the bottom seems to be the ground of the trees. Next time crop the white band on top and bottom.

I like the "psychedelic " way of these image. Maybe a bit too much of red but it rendere a warm atmosphere.Very well done the use of reflection to enphatize the light geometry.

Sorry, but for me photography isn't point and shot, you have to comunicate something. Here the only thing that can catch out is a texture, but is isn't much evident and isn't well performed due to the blur on the top.

Wellcome to PSIG Luis. The problem of these first image are two: a quite flat illumination probably due to a frontal flash, and a disturbing background. Good the framing and the and the catching moment. Regards, Stefano.

Not original but well done. A lower POV can eliminate the empty street and leave space to the building. Regards, Stefano

Wellcome to PSIG Shana. I hope you will find useful these place but I advise you to look around for a photo club to share your passion.
These image is well done only a little bit static:moving the pistil in a "rule of thirds" focal point can help. Regards, Stefano.

Not original but well composed and with a problem of DOF: the the flower on the bottom is disturbing out of focus; for solve these problem you can close the f-stop or change the POV so to have all the tree flower on the same plane. Regards, Stefano.
