The whites look over exposed however there are still details on the white
my feeling is that with proper levels adjustment in photoshop this can be made a lot better

I like the composition , there is some blue cast around is it low light conditions
the bird is a bit soft
all the points for getting the framing perfect (bird in the frame placement)

The 2 good thing about this pic are 1) a good backgroung 2) a catch in the birds beak
otherwise the bird is a bit over exposed and a bit soft for 80-400, is there any chance that the picture was a bit too much cropped then could be

the bckground takes the full marks here
i think the focus is more on the perch than the bird since at 1/250 the bird should be lot sharper
The second point i liked about this image was the composition, bird looking into the frame . would have even prefered mor space in the front

I find this is a very interesting composition with the black ad white bird the red eye looks catchy , the attention of any viewer goes directly to the eye.
The background is a bit dull but then in wildlife we dont always get what we want. Would like this to be a tack sharper but this is a bit related comment and may not hold valid as i am looking at this on my business laptop
good effort overall

A very nice way to present it
Composition wise i felt that the small girl being placed in between the taller once would have made it stand out more
Sari is from India , good work

Very Nicely made, you have over come the challange of rightly exposing against the blue sky
fantastic work
We get these birds in India in our winters when they migrate to our place, they dont breed here . Lovely one

The framing is nice , love the composition
however considering the shutter speed you have managed the image is a bit soft , probably a stop down would have got you a better shutter speed and also a improved exposure
Wonderful attempt at action

lovely image
the 2 colors in the Background make the bird stand out so it would be great score on the composition front
the bird itself has good posture and so has a striking pose
nice capture

Nice Bird
needed 2 more things in here
its a bit soft need it sharper
the framing can get the complete bird , the bird is cut off at the bottom which gets the viewers attention in a adverse way
