Hi Yu,
I suggest you try and take your photo again and have a think about it's composition. It's nice and sharp on the product names however I think if you were to change to position of the glasses you would manage to compose a photo that draws your eye to the branding on the glasses. Currently when I look at the photo my eye is draw towards the orange flower.
Try Googling for: "rule of thirds photography" and you will find a lot of examples which I think will help...

Hi Lorenzo,
It's certainly a nice old bridge, however the photo does not jump out at me. I think it would be worth trying the photo again from a slightly different angle, perhaps thinking about the composition using the "rule of thirds" so the arch with the hole in the side was 1/3rd away from the right edge. Currently my eye is draw to the right end of the bridge which is actually a not very interesting red brick wall :) Cheers, Chris

Hi Susan,
I agree with Marks comments, the first thing I thought was I didn't like the background and the fact you've cropped off the girls hands.

Hi Davor, I thought your shot works well, I'm not sure the stairs are the most interesting. Your shot reminded me of one of mine from years ago taken inside the Arch de Triomphe
Personally I don't mind the frame, as you can see I put a frame on mine too!

Hi Diane,
I like your tomato photo, for me I would have liked to see the whole stork in focus and not cropped off the side of the photograph. I do like the lighting, but I find the actual tomato slightly soft focused.
I've taken a few tomato shots in the past, my favourite was this one

Hi Jan, A nice first photo, welcome to Photosig!
My thoughts are that I find the landing stage on the right a little distracting, so maybe a slightly different position could have avoided including it?
Also, I think I would crop about an inch from the left hand side of the image, the reason being I find the light on the left draws my eye away from the main subject.

Hi Markus, I like this photo, to me it looks like an ideal wallpaper, it's a shame it's not 1600x1200 ;-)
One comment I have is that it looks like you've done some editing of the photo, and I find at the bottom of the photo it is too bright. I might be wrong? Chris

Hi, I think you could have done with some fill in flash as the sun is obviously behind your subject and hence his face is a big shadow. You might find something like DxO Optics Pro might help your original image. I've no association to the product, but I've been playing with the demo recently and it seems to do a very good job on some photos.

Nikita, A nice looking flower, but unfortunately the lighting is very flat and hence your photo is very un-inspiring. I am guessing you were using natural light, you might want to try again on a sunny day, or prehaps use something as a reflector at one side to create a bit of contrast.

Hi Tim, A good record shot of the Falkirk Wheel, but it doesn't really stand out and grab you. I think that's down to the lighting and lack of contrast. Also I think I'd be tempted to take the shot at more of an angle from the left, and probably portrait to get more of it in.
Have a look at my canal shots if you would like to return a critique.
Also, I think you'd get more critiques if this photo was not categorized as "X Rated"

Francois,
I like the idea for the photograph, and I think the black and white works well, but there is just not enough like on the main subject for my liking, as this is meant to be portraiting the door, you can only really see the top half.Best regards, Chris

Hi Sarah,
A nice photo of your daughter, very dreamy pose she has, makes you wonder what she is thinking. For me, I would have liked just a little more light on the left so you could see her right eye, currently on my monitor anyway, it's completely in the shadows.
Cheers, Chris

Hi Richard,
I'm affraid your image looks very flat, probably due to our grey days in England. Also your friends in the photo look rather over exposed. You might have been limited by the length of your lens, but next time try and get in closer. Nice to see some boating photos, I have just added a couple I took while on the Trent the week before Christmas.
Cheers, Chris

Hi Stuart, is this a photograph of a photograph? I just noticed the small strip of white down the right hand side, near the bottom.
The other thing is Lagonda is spelt with LA not LO :)

I like this photograph very much, the simplicity of the idea is brilliant, I think it's quite originally.. I am sure now I have said that someone will correct me ;) Three T's as I think you have portrayed what you intended to flawlessly. Sometimes the best art is something very simple. Best regards, Chris
