I like the perspective of this shot, there is room for improvement, however. It is somewhat out of focus, and the white t-shirt is overexposed, with the shadows a bit dark. Use of fill flash may help. Good job on the DOF. Keep shooting and sharing!

Oh my goodness! What a wonderful capture! I am truly impressed with your photos. I don't see focus as being a problem at all. Those eyes are amazing. Captivating! The framing of the face combined with the black space to the left works perfectly. Nostalgic. Inspiring. Very nice composition. Thank you so much for sharing, and keep them coming!

Very good photo considering the lighting conditions! I know how difficult it is to get good action shots with these circumstances. A 2.8 lens will give you improved results.

Your photos are great! I like the composition and overall feel. Your style conveys much more of a story of substance (as they say "a picture is worth a thousand words!"). Her face is slightly out of focus though. Her eyes should be more of the focal point, drawing the viewer deeper into the frame. Thank you for sharing your technique on this particular photo! I will try it for myself. Wish me luck!
