I like the simple composition of the image and the black background aldough the image is kind of melted but I am sure this is a problem of the scanner. Probably a BW print made in dark room gives a much better look to it.CheersRaphae

I haven't critiqued a photo in a long time, stopped on this one because I love the composition and the Polaroid look of the framing. The only reason I an not giving 3TU is because on the figures the midtones are too much noised. The highlight on the sky are not disturbing to me, at all. Kindest Regards R.

Very good composition, like the bw tone and the light. The position "may" not appropriate to the idea of getting wet form the sprinkler but this is very personal feeling.Bella foto Roberto

Interesting prospect of view but the light is very flat. Probably in another time of the day, with light coming throug the trees would have given more tridimensionality to the photo. Raphael

you deserve a 3TU. Composition is absolutely perfect respecting the rules of the thirds (but this is just from a technique stand point). More interesting is the feeling of the image that is very italian and gives the sensation of the time that went by. Nice work, complimenti. Raphael

Composition is quite good. Gives the feeling of the past... 2UP as I would have showed the photo in BN to give even more that feeling. Rgds. Raphael

Nice colors, Like the use of a tele lens to compress the image but somewhat (IMHO) does not feel correct. Probably the law of the third does not work in this case. The house is probably too hided. Raphael

3-TU: Wonderful flower where the black back ground gives to the blue and incredible color. Even dough I'm giving a 3UP I would have made sure (no clone) to eliminate the foot of the flower so that it looks like the flower is floating in space. RGDS, Raphael

3 TU for the image - 2TU for presentation. IMHO I really prefer the photo vertically with the phone at the bottom of the screen. Rarely I comment a photo that is already on the main page but this one is really great. Very good job. Raphael

2+TU The photo is very nice and deserves at least a 2TU (IMHO). However I would crop the flowers as they are distracting and I would have loved to see o bit more of the street under the left door. Colors are great and as the two persons you can see inside the restaurant. Ciao

The photo is quite good but I don't understand why you did crop the top of the mountain, it's really missing a piece :( Good the colors that are vivid but still look very real and the light is also good. Ciao

not moutch to say excpet for "wonderful portait"...candid image where you get trapped from her eyes and her smile. perfect in the sqare format. the only think I would love to see is the final print in BW paper that I'm sure is even much better than on screen. raphael

Wonderful photo and I'm sure on screen it does not shows half of the beauty of the final print. Great work that makes me missing my 4x5. Regards, Raphael.

Kashmegi, IMHO the photo is perfect as it is, it looks like a painting. To me there is nothing that will confuse my mind in looking at it. Actually, still IMHO, the whyte areas are adding interest to this photo. I think that instead of talking about technical issues (1/2 sec instead of 1/4 and bla bla) you should think more of what you can feel from this kind of images and as you are shooting in digital (no difference in price if you shoot 1 or 100 images) and not in...
