Emil, this may be my favorite work of yours. - Yes, that is saying alot! Framing, pose, and the effect of the Diana all work pefectly here. I love what you're able to do with the Diana. - I've just started using a Holga myself can't imaging getting the amaing of a picture - but I'm having a blast trying. Thanks for setting the standard. William

Love the pose of the model. Simple yet effective pose. Overall picture has an errie ghost like quality about it. Diana camera has a very specific quality about it and if person likes to have sharp contrasty pictures, DIana is not for that person

This is so great! I love retro/vintage style and I love this kind of dreamy, surreal effekt. Reminds me of Henry Goodwin.

i love the effect you pulled from the diana here. the uneven focus, the slight vignetting, the burned out highlights in places. everything is working together. if any one of these elements existed on it's own in a more technically conventional image, it would not work. but together they create an effectively stylish image.

you may or may not have planned it, but even the wardrobe -- atypical for a typical nude -- is working here.

i also appreciate your composition in this shot, with your model slightly offcenter in the square frame. and finally, her pose is terrific -- defiantly looking out of the frame, away from us, yet not hiding anything.

for what it is and what it is meant to be, it is very, very good.

OK, I'll buy it as more of an artistic effort. It reminds me of the ancient national Geographic photos of the 1920's through 1930's of scantily clad native women. In that case, it works and is interesting enough, very creative in fact. It's not my favorite type of thing because I'm a die-hard realist of the old school. For me I'd prefer to see old-fashioned sharpness and clarity like from an old leica M2 with a wonderful Summicron lens and Panatomic X. Thanks for sharing!

thats ok, I guess, but for me a camera is a tool - not the objective...

I love the mood created by this camera - no Leica would be able to do this...

It does something quite different, and of course it is brilliant in its own way...

kind of you to comment on this despite your preference...
