While not perfect, this rose has a light all it's own. No, I did not add the light.

For one thing, I don't like the border, but ok. I like the shot, the composition is weak (placement in the frame) but what you have captured here as the essence of the light and color came out well.

This shot is very rich in colors, the DOF is excellent, but the framing for some reason I find something un.... I don't know, the position of the rose can be bit better, and using a macro lens for something like this gave you some part of the rose out of focus and yes I know this is what macro all about but for a rose like this you need every bit of it sharp, may be narrower f stop would've been better option.  David
