This is a picture I had to do for a photography assignment. It shows one aspect of my life, which has to do with horses and riding. I thought that it would be a cute idea to photograph myself in my show clothes and with some of my tack. The picture is originally black and white, but I wanted it to have a little color so I added a slight sepia coloring after I scanned it. I also left the negative part because I think that the picture would be too narrow, but I will probably upload another version of this picture that is more professional looking.

I think this image has a nice old timey feel of the old west to it. I also think you should have posted a larger version so we could see more detail. But with the dust grain and sepia tone it make a good vintage image. I think though that from what I can see it's a touch over exposed and soft. Also I think the neg border works well if you would crop the numbering off.

I like the image overall, but it's a little too small for me to discern a lot of the detail. The focus looks a little soft around your face and it looks like there's a little dust in the scan.

I'm impressed by the way you set this shot up, with your horse equipment and the makeshift background, even including the AQHA logo in the frame for reference. I would have like to see you crop off the part where we can see above the background; having that line there is a bit distracting.
