I like this shot. details are good and colors pleasing. If I made it, Iwould try to find some other position (if possible),
to eliminate parting lower part in half. However, this is very good shot.

I leally like this work. But to be perfectly honest with you Bizzie, I'll prefer the other racurs of the flower. Becouse ether the main flower not in the center of picture. So we losing the main component. But it's just IMHO. I like background colour. The picture is clear.Very good, well done. I really like it.

I was just looking at the Easter lily I bought my girlfriend and thought, I need to shoot this thing. My imagination was envisioning something just like this. Simple, natural, and very pleasant. You did well with the 4500.

Hi Bizze one. The new guidelines say leave off the me too critiques but this one is just so darned good I'll gladly take an empty thumbs critique if thats what the AI super chrome moly draglining critique evaluator does. I have looked at a great deal of your work and this is clearly among your best and the best flower shots I have seen on this site. That is very strong company. Congratulations on a job which is, IMO, impeccable in every aspect. Just bought myself a CP 4500 last week. Took some flower pics to see what it would do. This is proof that it isn't the camera-- its the photographer.

You have such a nice way with words...something not seen enough around here a lot of the time:) Thanks for your comments..always nice to hear the positive with the not so positive. You will love your camera...I am new with mine, too, but the more I use it the more I like it. Keep in touch and we can compare notes:)

A difficult flower to do well and this is done quite well. The white of the
flowers is just perfect. The flowers show a nice modeled effect and the
overall composition works well. You've filled the frame with beauty. Well
done.

What a beautiful composition. The background color fits just perfectly. The composition is not to close and not to far---just perfect! Very nice detail as well. I see no distractions at all. (ok 32 words).

One of the better-composed flower bunches that I've seen here, this is extremely well lit, with detail even in the darker areas of the leaves. I'm glad you added comments, as I did notice the purple glow around the flowers...knowing that was intentional has added impact to the image. Very well done.

Huzzah for Coolpix 4500's! Takes one to know one. ;-) I really like how the background both blends in with certain parts of the flower (well, the leaves), and in other areas it makes the flower jump out. Good choice in colors! Good composition as well, a very eye pleasing image.

You have produced one very attractive image. The colors are vivid, the details are sharp. Love the lighting, the darker portion on the foremost bloom adds to the depth. The light shining through the petals creates an awesome sight. You have really out done yourself Bizzie! hehe

Very nicely set up and well-lit lilies. I like the way the stem of the plant
is side-lit, giving it some dimension and depth. Was wondering whether if
you could PS-lighten up the central portion of the middle lily -- the
shadows provide good contrast but find them just a little wee bit
overpowering. Good effort otherwise.
