Place d'Armes, Montréal, Québec, Canada, March 14th 2003

These buildings are owned by two financial institutions: National Bank of Canada (on the left) and Bank of Montreal.

The picture was converted to b&w and modified with the surrealistic toning approach from Y K.

Enjoy!

Everybody likes it and I do to but I also think it could be better. There is a way to frame this so the corner of the building on the left is actually in the upper left corner of the pic. I just scrolled it on my monitor cutting off the "unwanted" part, IMO. Regards.

Encore une fois, une superbe photo. L'angle donne le vertige et nous rend minuscules... La composition est parfaite. Vraiment superbe.

Very good expressive work. I can't wait to experiment this "surrealistic toning"!

That is one damn fine cityscape! The compostion is stunning. BW was an excellent choice. It makes me think that it could be a scene in an art film, of a dream sequence. In the movie, the clouds would be moving overhead at an exagerrated rate. Nice contrast of the old and the new too. Truly a stunning image.

excellent prospective. Nice tonalities, good contrast, and great details. If you have time, I would love your opinion and suggestions about my People, present and past over the bridge or critics about my preferred ones. Thanks in advance.
