Very beautifull image as all your images, very poetic soft and sensual, great composition and a fantastic light and texture.

You've got some work to do here...and if you take the time to extend your creative juices and rethink some of your technical choices, this will move beyond the realm of "interesting composition" and into the genre we like to refer to as Fine Art. There is a lot to be said for the way you chose to crop and the basic elements of this photo. This is a fine example of minimalism. Your DOF and your lighting, however, do not enhance the photograph to its fullest potential. You've still done very well, though.

la foto è intrigante ed allusiva, proverei a tagliarla un po' a dx. l'effetto soft non è male, ma mi pare un poco forzato, il gold sul b/w potrebbe risaltare un poco di +. ciao

Maria :) I see your idea behind very well! And I love grainy prints. In this case you lose too much texture and therefor information for the eyes. I have the impression of schallow focus instead of stark grain. You also might consider a different crop. Play around with it - I suppose you have a series of this subject?

Maria I agree with Dave on this the shot needs more depth of field. The idea is good as is the composition. The use of light was well done as well.

Maria, this is too out of focus to me. I like the pose and cropping though. Seems as though the DOF is too shallow as well. Keep shooting!!
