The fence is reality, it is there, and it serves a purpose (protecting this good photographer!) I like the extreme focus on his head and the clear metal texture of the unsharp fence, great shot, whatever story behind it. This tiger certainly mean(s) business.

A very graphic example of why I don't go to zoos. This animal is not a happy camper, he hates his life and I can't say I blame him much... If your intentions were to show the bad side of zoo life then 3 thumbs up, if you intended to show us a tiger, then I should change this to 3 thumbs down.

Great shot - the clarity of the tiger really shines through. This picture would be about a million times better if there were no fence... although it'd probably have been your last photo if there no fence...!

I am going to give it a three, beacuse it says it all, a caged Tiger, Not a zoo person Andy, but I suppose I am in a very good position to view the wilds If you have time please crit my Cheetahs.
