It appears that the tip of the beak is in pretty good focus, but the breast area apears very soft on my monitor, and the edges of the wings are very indistinct. Great colors, but focus in this case definitely needs some work. Can you try this one again with greater care on sharpness and depth of field? Good idea, but "clearly" room for improvement.

It's a shame about the blur because the colours are great and the DOF looks good too. I agree that a tripod would probably help. Better luck next time.

what is this lens ? NIKON 70-300 2.8 ? Bailey is right : picture seems fuzzy but I like the colors. There is the little branch on the bottom left that annoys me...

Focus would be the biggest problem I see here. It is a bit soft, and even more so away from his face. The beauty of digital is being able to take picture after picture after picture. A tripod would have no doubt helped with this one, especially with the high shutter speed and very wide aperature. Very colorful!
