Strongly Characteristic...! But I didn't go in, for I'm fully loaded with travel baggage and in rush to catch for the train!!

This could definitely work. Try increasing the clarity and contrast to make a more dramatic look, especially in the sky. Nice shot.

i dont like the tilt in the shot at all, it takes away from a shot that is otherwise pretty boring anyway. and it doesnt help that that van is there at all

I've looked at a fairly sizeable chunk of your critiques, and they all have the same underlying theme......... Your critique looks more like a commercial, than a sincere attempt at critiquing someone's work. Your ugly advertisement's are splattered all over some lovely PhotoSig submissions. I suggest you start creating some genuine critique, because you may then learn something, which will flow out via your photographic work. This is at best an average image, and your advertising of it really is shameless.

could do witha tighter crop to the bottom part of the pic to get rid of the shadows

Nice shot but too much of it is in shadow to be really effective. The composition is fine but the truck in the foreground is a little distracting. The main building in the photo is interesting and you've caught the colours well. It might have been worth zooming in a little more on the top part of the building and crop the truck out completely.

ok...technically there is no question ask bout the building back ground. Its a great building to me. Entirely the photo is well compose and well balance. The only flaw is the thing in yellow with japanese words on it, which is blocking some views but not too obvious because the bottom of the photo is a bit dark...Anyway,great photo.
