Great capture. I love the composition and texture of the snow. The tree and grass on the left really frames the picture well, without which the photo would really lose its touch. The color of the sky really adds to the warmth of the picture. Thanks.

This image is wonderful ... love the position of the camera and the light on the castle and the rock. I also find the huge amount of details very pleasing - the ice in the foreground, the reflections and that little light at the shore.

Excellent composition and juxtaposition of sky and reflection. Well done! While I like the sky a lot, it kind of reminds me of lots of image enhancement in Photoshop.

very intensive feeling of winter. I feel cold myself now... colours and saturation are lovely, so is composition. the only thing I would change is tree in left-up corner, it draws to much attention away from the castle. By the way, I've spend 25 years in Poland yet never been to Krakow. shame really...

Stunning. I Googled Tyniec, as I'm visiting Krakow in February and had seen a photo of the monastery in a book, and the thumbnail of this came up. I registered with Photosig just to get a better look.
This is of outstanding quality in every respect and it has persuaded me that a visit to Tyniec is essential.
This is one of those photographs I'll never forget. Have you had it published?

I've been there, but I couldn't imagine the place is so beautifull. Maybe I've been too close (at the opposite bank of the Wisla).
Beautifull "frame" composed of the tree and light-created mood.

This photo has the potential to give the viewer a nice set of different interest points... the contrast of warmth colors on a cold environment, the peaceful reflections on the water, the texture of the floating ice, the roughness of the rocks. It is a pleasure to see. However,there is just something I find curious about this photo: you can notice the shadows on the walls and on the rocks, in fact, the whole thing is having direct sunlight. However, the sky colors indicate that there are too many thunder clowds. This kind of environment may have a lot of light, but direct sunlight would probably mean a sky with less clouds an therefore, with a different color (not so dark brown). Did you use a filter?

If you see a branch of the foreground tree touching the monastery, it is the distract one. I'm not there but i guess couple steps to right (but need to keep the whole things) should be the perfect composition.
but it's already enough to say perfect! very good job.

ecxellent picture ! it is hard to see wether all is natural here or not, especially the sky which has an unnatural colors and that warms up the whole scene! I love the first plan texture, and details, and the light comming onto it, with the monastery on the roc, a masterpiece !

Most artistic shot. The only reason I can't give 3 thumbs up is that it is more of a painting than photograph. Others have mentioned this as well and I would also like to know what the premanipulation photo was like.
Otherwise this is a masterful composure, lighting, colors, etc. Awesome.

I agree with Mark Zurek. Monochromizing the image a little bit and putting a graduated filter in PS on your landscape photo will double the score... :-)
I like the image, I begin to dream looking at it. But its more a painting than a photo to me.
Nevertheless the unmanipulated picture seems to be very atmospheric. Could you post it as well to give us a comparison?

While the composition is indeed extraordinary and is indicitive of the photographers vision, I would like to see the unretouched version to give credit to the abilities of the graphic artist.These overmanipulated "photos" are beginining to become a bit commonplace and tiresome.Why not post photos of paintings?

Truly displays the power of a digital camera. It looks absolutely picturesque. Beautiful framing and colors--it grabs your eyes and pull them up the perfectly detail cliffs toward the monestary.

This is a great piece of work. It appears to actually be two or maybe more photos, since both the tree and the castle are clearly in focus. A lot of photoshop work I think, but I'm sure well worth the effort. Awesome picture can't say enough, wish I had some of your technical skills.

Simply stunning. Slightly oversharpened perhaps though? The roof of the monastery has some jaggies for some reason which spoil the overall texture slightly. Nitpicking perhaps, but the rest is soo perfect that the slight distraction really stands out to me.

This is a very nice image. The lighting and tone are perfect. The tree in the foreground bothers me. I like that it follows the line of the other shore, but think it would be a better photo without it, especially since it intersects with the background.
I like the unusual aspect ratio, I really think it adds to this photo.

A top class image, well deserved front page position. The composition is lovely, the tree and waterside acting well with the diagonals of the snow and water. I like the incredibly fine texture on the snow. The light is perfect although I don't know how much the sky color is generated by photoshop. The mirror in the water is sweet. Lovely place especially under these circumstances!

Too good to be true!! It is like a dream come true. Sucha capture !! Such a replacement of the objects that form the picture. The illumination is marvelous!! The water merging with the still water, then water merging with white snow and there stands the Monastery!. The sky has a 100% color match with the mood of this picture. The ever-lasting lenght of the river adds a special depth and the shadow on the river is the cream cheese on top of a hot bagel. Very tasty, very romantic, very perfect!! I just want to say 3Ts are not enough! Thank you for this splendid picture. Zafer

It is the balanced color tones that stand out in my eyes here.Easy to look at and study without distraction.Superb use of the rule of thirds and using the tree as an anchor to the left side.If I was to nitpick I would say clone out the one branch that moves into the building but not really critical.I just returned from Krakow recently but missed this place.I have a few of the area in my portfolio(NOT SPAMMING)that you might be interested in since you are Polish.Wonderful image here and keep shooting!
