They appear uncomfortable and physically suspicious of each other to me.

I think what bothers you is that they don't seem connected. He has the 'deep thinking' look and she has the 'are we done yet' look. She's also leaning pretty hard on the chopped arm, which doens't help. Technicaly the shot is great, good contrast, her freckles look great, albeit the hands are blown.

They both look bored to me, unfortunately... this looks very staged and their looking away from the camera isn't so great in this photo. The B&W is excellent and so is the contrast. Overall, a high quality photo... but some improvments that I mentioned could be useful.

Technically, an excellent picture. A great pose by the male model. Something about the female model bothers me, though. Does she look bored to you?
