Almost perfect. I love the overlapping rust-coloured leaves, and the colours are wonderful. I feel that one heavy diagonal vein that runs right across the picture just above the rust leaves distracts slightly from the lightness of the composition.

More than a little dark and muddled for my taste... and I don't want to doubt your described technique, but it looks like a photo accomplished with Photoshop layers. It's well advertised, though.

it is a pleasure somebody willing to share the secret how the pic is made. The only sugestion I have is try to play with the light direction, intensity, and color to see what effect would make the pic. more interesting.

3 thumbs up for the idea, sharpness (you can't see that there is space among the leaves, there must be...) and the colours, although i have a suggestion to improve the picture; maybe you can be more aware of the composition of lines before you get your camera, and lay the leaves down in a certain way, THEN get your camera and look for the right cropping. i have made layers with slides, look at my double-slide portfolio if you like?

Interesting procedure, I love this shot, very well done, the framing too is elegant. Good sharpness too. It is a pity where the leafs are one over the other the texture is a bit confused.

Very nicely done. The curves and diagonals all contribute to a very nice composition. Good texture and color. A few slightly hot spots due to the lack of diffusion on the light source, my guess but still a great shot.
