I love the yellow eyes dark green back and regular green body. The water is so clear and you can see the reflection of the frog in the water clear as can be. Congrats george its awesome!

Wow! That is one of the most beautiful frog photos I've ever seen! I really thing that this photo is artistically and technically flawless! Love this photo. The color and clarity are perfect. Love the way the water, while mirror-like, reflects a blurred background. The frog is absolutely central - no distractions at all. At first, I wanted to crop the image on the right just a bit but decided the balance of color was worth the off-center crop. In my book, this is a perfect photo. Well done. Sorry for the length - my first critique as a visitor of this site...

i have seen some of your previous works.. and am in awe.. i think i added comments on one of your others.. your frog pictures are fantastic.. they have enough depth of field and a clarity that is not often seen in frog pictures.. you must have some backyard if you have such large frogs in it.. more of a real deep pond if it supports bullfrogs.. if you discover this among your commments, maybe you could let me know where this pond is.. (i am a herpetologist and it would just be interesting to know geographically where you are located) thanks..
as for the picture the detail is great the eyes are beautiful, the reflection, you could probably turn it upside down and it might be hard to tell which is which.. as such the placement within the frame may be a bit off.. maybe centralize it or move it away from the central horizontal line..

If this isn't 3TU worthy, I don't know what is. And really, what can I possibly say that anybody else hasn't? This is a stunning shot, a beautiful shot, a magical shot. It's sharp, vivid, and colorful. The details are exquisite! The pond is so still, and the reflection is breathtaking. This must have taken a long time to capture the perfect shot. I love the little bit of lightness in the frog's eye. Absolutely amazing!!

Certainly fits into the flawless category. Excellent work with the DOF, absolutely spot on! The sharpness and detail in the frog against the colorful yet blurred background is what makes this one work so well.

Outstanding work! The clarity and sharpness is unbelieveble. I've had my Canon Powershot G2 since Sept. and think it's a great learning camera. As soon as I learn the ropes and improve, I really want the camera you use. I am impressed with the quality of your shots (of course it's not just the camera, it's your eye finding the perfect shot). Anyways, this is brilliant work. Into my favorites you go! Great work :)

Wow... absolutely sriking image... one of the best I've seen here... there's nothing that I can suggest to improve this - your colour and lighting are brilliant, the depth of field is spot on, the reflection is crystal clear... great work... and with your obvious skill, what an ad for the D60 - you should contact Canon with this!!

Stunning photo! Suberb sharpness, and the DOF is absolutely wonderful, as are the reflections it creates. I personally like the crop -- leaving that space to the right gives the frog a place to look into.

You could have turned that upside-down, and few would notice. Lovely colours, and the contrast between the frog in focus and the blurred background. Yes, maybe a bit more cropped off the right would help (and a bit more added to the left, but not if it's not there in the original shot, of course).

holy crispness! so sharp. the reflection is perfect. almost unbelieveable as an untouched photo. excellent shot! if i absolutely had to critique, i'd say crop a bit of the right side. (?) check out my first photo!
