very nice timeless shot .. bad thing however that there's not enough "action" in iot - so that we could believe that it's from an old LIFE magazine .. I like it though :)

A nicely done, timeless photo. Suggestion: crop it to eliminate the steel beam. I would have loved to see a photo of just the men. Excellent use of B & W.

Seems kind of wierd commenting on a 30 year old photograph! I love the tonality and the fact that the background is lighter - it forces your attention to the foreground (which is where the action is). I wonder what would have happened if the shot was slighter closer making the faces more prominent in the image. Also the hook and block that obscures one of the faces is really irritating. The vertical steel column (which one of them is leaning on) also seems overly prominent. Nevertheless, a good image.
