Another one of my favorites from a recent wedding. I love outdoor weddings, the lighting is so much better. This is taken with ambient light and fill from a Metz flash set at 2:1 with a Lumiquest Promax softbox. Again, thanks for all the input from the photosig community.

John, Great arrangement and excellent balance between ambient lighting and flash fill. My next shot at this location would be one where nothing changes except to have the bride place a hand in\on the girl's hand for an more intimate look. They are connected here with their eyes only. A physical connection would perhaps aid in reinforcing in the viewer the feeling of their close relationship. Just a humble opinion. Best, LM.

Definitely a nice shot. I agree with the comment about the lines of the fence, but would add that with one looking down and the other up, it might have been appropriate to shoot from a point between the two. This appears to have been taken from just above the heads of both of them. Zooming in from a lower point might have accentuated that up/down look and losing the bottom of the dresses and the square of the plastic planter on the left might have improved the composition. Still, very nice!

Absolutely a WONDERFUL photo!! The only thing keeping this from perfection, IMO, is the angle of the fence, in the background.A small, nit-picky thing, I agree. BUT, when you have the ability to capture this kind of image, you create a very high standard. If you can achienve this type of quality, you can achieve perfection.
I envy you, your abilites, which you have shown with this terrfic image...
