Very well done! Don't mind the shadow in the background. It gives the background some structure without attracting the attention away from the model too much. I also like the contrast between the wrinkles of her clothing and her belly.

So Willis, this is where it all began. Great concept - the site - As you note the shadow is a little distracting. The colors are good contrasting colors and accentuate the curves of the model. I too find the belly-button ring distracting, and often distasteful. Your lighting is very effective and the skintones pure and natural. Well done.

Nice photograph. Hmm makes me wonder why you enjoy programming so much. Multi-talented person using both sides of the brain. I love the form and bold colors in this photograph. There are basically four shapes in this photograph, creates a strong graphical image. I like the ring,it creates an age timeline.

this is an absolutely gorgeous image! this it's beautiful! the colors are great, the composition is sooo nice- i love how the whole image becomes all about the line created by where her shirt, belly and skirt end. the belly button ring doesn't bother me at all, but i can understand why it would bother others. this is beautiful, beautiful work.

Dynamic composition, complimentary colours, technically well done, it has an appeal that is hard to explain. I love the simplicity, the lines and curves, the abstract quality of it. I can see nothing to improve here

A fantastic image. The belly ring adds intrest. I like the shadow as well it helps define the image. If you want to remove it in photoshop try making a path with the pen tool selecting the path then clone from top down. Personally I'd leave it as is. With out the shadow the image might appear a bit flat.

Excellent. I love images that change the subject into something else. This stops being a portrait and turns into an almost abstract shot about shapes and vibrant colour. The belly button ring adds a great point of interest.

Nice capture. The colors, exposure, and composition are excellent. I don't have a problem with the belly button ring or the shadow (which I think you handled quite well). What I like most about the photo is it's teasing effect. It makes me want to see more.

I think the belly button ring personifies and gives some charm to this photo.
Many things are working for this photo. The blue background is catchy and make the photo pop. The curve of her hips is very seductive and gives the photo attitude. The rolled up waist line (which she probably had to do because indeed, she is very skinny) is another personal touch that I like. The fact that both her pants, a shiny silk and her top, a rougher fabric, are different textures works well.
This photo makes me want to do 50 sit-ups!

I think the colour work really well and the belly button ring adds a unique point of interest. Creates questions...
Otherwise it would just be a flat stomach. Love the texture you've created by the folds in the fabric. I think the shadow helps define the image more. Otherwise it would look too flat and unrealistic.

I like this picture Willis...maybe because I once took one very similar myself ;-) I like the colors, yeah I would like to see the shadow gone as well. Maybe burn in the belly button ring a bit more to give it more umpf. Maybe if you had had the light more straigh on it would have removed the shadows better. I like it all in all!

The shadow you wanted to remove, try the dodge and burn on the tool bar. I think you will like how it can help as opposed to cutting and pasting in a section.

I disagree with Brien, I think this shot works very well in color.
As a major fan of color photography I feel a little silly knowing I work mostly in B/W. I think the color here really helps establish the difference in texture between the shirt and skirt.
Again, I think the shadow in the background helps the shot from looking flat.
I think belly button rings are stellar, but up close they do look a little wierd, as does the shadow it casts.
This picture kind of reminds me of a German flag turned on its side. Very eeenteresting.

I like this quite a lot, actually. It reminds me of something musical. The curve of the model's side is similar to what I am going for with my own work with a cello. The resolution of the online image subdues the shadow that you don't like, so it doesn't really detract from my view. I think I'd like the image even more in black and white.
