Hoya R72. Taken at the Kensico Dam (NY watershed) moments before the police asked me to leave. "No Loitering" - post 9/11 heightened security.

Hey, all you Photosig'ers, stop loitering with those cameras!

I like the look and feel of this photo. It is very Spartacus feeling to me. The muted earthy tones and the low perspective that the viewer has makes one want to look up to the heavens. The grain in the photo and the highlighted section of the sky shows this force or power nicely. You have captured an emotional powerful setting. One thing that I want to do here is shift to the right a bit. I am not sure if that is a pro or a con although it does get me to move so it is healthy. It is a strong underrated photo by you. Nice job!!!

Good IR shot. Interesting composition. Seems like it could use a little more contrast and sharpening. Nicely done.

loiter (intransitive verb) : (B) to remain in an area for no obvious reason. I think you had a very obvious reason, and it was take this great shot. What i like most is the fact that shot seems timeless. Nice sky and tones.
