Image subject needs sharper focus. Also need to tighten the depth of field so the background becomes blurred and is not such a distraction.

The flower is composed nicely and fills the frame nicely. I also think, as others have mentioned, that it lacks some sharpness. I'm going to take a guess judging from the shutter speed and the assumption that this is a handheld capture, that the softness in part is from motion blur caused by camera shake. Try using a faster shutter speed or a tripod if there is little wind. Downsizing for the web may have added to the softness and some USM would help at that point.

Nice colour but the flower is too central and the focus is too soft.
