Okay I love the concept of this photo! It is so creative and you can make your viewer feel multiple emotions, you got rid of that horrible commercial feel and made this playful! Love the shadow you chose as well. Also I got to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Interactive Media- are you taking the photography course? I may enroll in that as well.
My dislikes in the photo- the toenails aren't manicured so it makes the toenail looked cracked, needs to be sharper; I would like to see the shoe blacker as well as the shadows. It looks like you may have used a lot of gum to achieve this shot, but I only thought of that after starring at it for a while.
Hope I helped,
Sativa Verte

Your idea is very interesting. And it was be nice to use black-white colour. But if you need better result, shadow must be smiler to obje. And you can use different angle.
Good luck.

Don't you hate it when this happens? Even though it is staged I like it. You have vignetting in the corners though.

I suppose it's a quick and easy photo assignment shot, but it comes across as staged.
My apologies for not leaving a comment with my first rating.

Great idea! I hate when that happens. Like that you made it black and white, gives a real artistic feel.

Good composition and well set up. A bit soft focused for me, and could also do with more contrast. But you've caught the feeling perfectly.

Within one image you have actually included two things that I love, not hate. Women (at least a foot) and chewing gum. However I prefer to dispose of my gum in a sensible manner. Upon looking at the image I cringed, as we all do when we step onto sticky gum. the image is well composed, but the contrast is a little soft for me (then again I love deep contrast or high colour saturation - so who am I to judge). A bit of burn in around the outside would help a lot, especially to remove those white corners.

Brilliant idea, well-executed. I only avoid the three thumbs on this shot because of the strange pale vignetting at the corners. Otherwise, excellent!

As a novice, I don't really suppose I have the credetnials to comment on the technical flawless-ness of your photo, but I think that the image is fantastic. Brialliant and hilarious! This would make a great greeting card.

The shot is strangely vingetted in its focus, is this a filter or a technique? Or just pure accident? I like it. Brilliant. Quirky. Very Funny. I love this photo.
