this is a great shot of your dog. i like it because patata is looking straight at the camera and its alsmost eye level with the camera. i also love the beatiful green grass in background. the photo is nice and clear and its a great shot

Patata is such a lovely dog! You've got a lovely photo of Patata here and I congratulate you on it. Bravo! My only fuss is that ths photo is too bright. Tone it down a little and pump up the contrast a little to make the skies more blue. Perfect!

I personally have 3 dogs, so i can understand when caputring a genuinely happy moment in your dogs life means a lot, he really does look really happy, I'm happy that we share the bond of dogs happiness. Great Shot.

You gotta love it! Energy and attraction on action. That said, it looks a little over exposed and while I love the mountains, this could have been cropped with nothing but the grass to the road. Still a joyous surprise. respectfully, john vansteenberg

Very nice. I want to go out and take pics of my dogs now!! Very good planning and a well trained dog to capture this shot. Having the dog sit and wait while you set up and then calling him to run at you. Without knocking you down!!!

Wow nice action shot and in great focus. Only thing is just a bit too much green/yellow almost washes out the dog, a nice contrast color would make this a super photo.

ciao lorenzo, niente male come foto, ma la montagna sullo sfondo come si chiama? ha qualcosa di famigliare. bella la foto, anche se in questi casi il culo ha una componente fondamentale, certo che se il culo non si cerca difficilmente te lo trovi nelle foto!!! ciao

A nice shot but I'm surprised it has been attracting three thumbs. The composition is fantastic but the shot appears to be a bit overexposed and the mountains, sky and cloud are a bit bright and have a haze about them. A polariser may have deepened them a bit. A combined polarise / UV filter would have been even better as it may have also cut the haze. Alternatively the mountains etc could have been cropped but you would need a horizontal rather than vertical frame to 'balance things out'. If the shot was of just the dog and greenery and exposed down a bit, then I would have given this two thumbs or three, depending on the result. The focus and timing of the shot do put this in good stead

I love the off centre composition, and the smile on the dog's face! There is so much mood and action in this photo. Sure there are some minor technical problems (the crane in the background, the green cast to the photo) but my the dog really makes this shot!

A very nicely done shot, and very good perspective. Goes to show what can be done with what is basically a "point and shoot" digital camera, if the photographer has a good eye. The only thing I don't like about it is the crane that can be seen in the background behind the dog.. my eye does tend to want to head for it. I would have cloned out this object. Otherwise, everything else is ok. Cute dog!

B^0 . Even if I had taken that picture myself, I would have been bowled over when I saw it on the computer! The overall detail is good, the frozen action, facial expression and the zest for life pouring from Patata's eyes are overwhelming.
I have to agree with Leo, a bit yellowish green overall, probably white balance... Easily fixed. I think you could edit that crane out of the background, too.
So... How much you want for the dog, meester??? B^)

Exceptional. Action captured perfectly (excellent shutter speed freezes subject's 'expression'). Good choice with portrait, as the wide field behind the dog makes the viewer FEEL the subject ran that length (depth!).
