I do not know reason the people tend to dignify a genovese, that wanted to be Portuguese and sold himself to the spanishes. With the intention to discover a sea way to the India, he discovered instead a part of the american continent (wich was already known and visited for Portuguese sailors), he killed the indian populations and was compared with an Anti Christ, the proper king of Spain removed him from the charge and ordered to return. Finally marryied a daughter of Bartolomeu Perestrelo (portuguese sailor)to heir his marine maps. He died thinking that it had discovered the India, without never having understood or recognized the mistake. An easy and a good guy, indeed ... Still it has who constructs commercial centers to him... As well as nor everything it can seem bad, I made this photograph with which I could homage with justice Bartolomeu Dias, at least he is always related with the Good Hope (cape).

Thank you for saying what i have been trying to preach in the USA since i came here. Anyway, at the end of the day people will believe whatever they want to believe regardless of the truthful content. Obrigado...

They high contrast give this a strange mood. Seems like a city from the future. I only find the light spot at the left side a little distracting. Regards

A good representation of the model - it seems that there's a bit too much contrast, but it is clear and dramatic.
