Pure the shapes/planes of this composition do appeal to me. I like the piled up colour fields and the tree overlaping those fields perpendicular

Not sure I like the branch coming down from the tree in the foreground (top right of frame) Otherwise a visually appealing piece. I would have cropped the top off altogether about two thirds the way up the background trees. No sky makes this a very cosy piece and the sunlight on the foreground brush gives this piece a magical feel. Well done.

It almost appears to be a painting. The frost adds a great dimension to the overal composition! Well done!

I like this picture. The bit of sunlight at the base of the tree makes me think of a faerie landscape, The growth just past the tree looks like hoar frost given 3 dimensions, and it just gets more interesting as it goes upward. The only I don't like is that the tree trunk seems abruptly cut off.
