Thumb-up Thumb-up    from afzalna/Nadeem (1,508) Send mail to this user on December 14, 2012 11:20:53 PM CST (1) Early critique

Don, very unusual leaves and wonderful - absolutely wonderful texture. I am a markedly biased colour man but still find your photograph very interesting and this is entirely due to the way you have brought out the textures. The dark bits of the picture, I think are acceptable too which is perhaps probably slightly enhanced by the direction of the leaves. 2 thumbs up. Tamron 28-70mm 3.5 on a D40 - interesting ! - didnt know that lens even existed ? is that a DX lens ?

Thanks Nadeem. It's an old film era lens--completley manual. It's got a really good macro on it.
