Nicholas, what a great catch in macro! Excellent timing. Both are sharp with nice details. Colours are very nice too. They are certainly a perfect match. Nicely done.

Hi, Nicholas. The moment is a combination of butterfly and flower that are rarely captured by most macro photos. What I most appreciate is you managed to freeze the motion of the butterfly. But maybe apparently your photo is oversharpened so the background looks a little bit grainy. Regards. :)

A very decisive moment Nicholas... very well timed and edited and I like the colours in this photo so much but there is this irritating noise wich engulfs the whole scene.. anyway all in all it's an interesting shot... thanks for sharing.

I like the symmetry which makes the image much more interesting to me than an ordinary view of the butterfly and the flower. I wish I could see more detail in the butterfly's head.

Thanks Joseph and I agree about the head, which is in the shadow because of the direction of the light. Maybe I can bring up the shadows a bit there and see how it looks. Nick

Great capture of what can be a very difficult subject i like to out of focus background but feel that it is a little bit grainy, Possibly cropped from larger Frame?

Thanks for the critique Paul and yes this is a crop and also shot at ISO 800, so was pushing it. Nick
