Not sure if you want it this way, but the overlays of bird and tree are sharpley cutoff at the edges of the moon...this makes them look as on the moon rather than in front of it. If you want it to look as if silhouetted by the moon, you should process the image so that some little bit of detail from the overlays is visible outside of the moons outer rim. i would also put the moon slightly higher so that it hits that top right third intersection rather than having equal top/bottom space around the moon. Hope this helps.

Thanks Craig for ideas, I wanted sky to be full dark, also noticed tree looked like cut off and pasted, but still wanted all three things to be as sharp as possible. Next time I'll do with some details in sky with such composite. But the moon doesn't seem to be placed above other two in anyway to me, and yes I am liking it in this way. My regards!!!
