Oh.... this is so nearly an awesome image.

I think you caught it at just the right time, while there's still some colour in the sky but it's clearly dusk. There's the low sweep of calm highlands along the left, with the mist sweeping down the slopes and out to sea.

That landmass does need something on the right to balance it, and the casting fisherman would be perfect, especially with that elegant curve of rod, if only his silhouette wasn't partly overlapping the dark rocks behind him. I wish you'd had time to move to your right more, to bring his outline clear of the rocks and maybe give you a chance to leave some of them out. That would result in a more delicate image without too much of the heaviness of those rocks.

Thanks Louise. I agree about the rocks... No option to move anywhere from where I was standing, however, an unscrupulous person would clone those rocks away and leave nice blue sea. Pardon me while I go and sit at my computer for a while :) thanks for taking the time to comment.. much appreciated!
