Wonderful calarity and color. Excellent DOF and composition. Love the concept of the bird preening itself. It's as if it's saying "Got a little on my belly there and have to clean it up" or "Time to wash up after eating". Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

The color and detail of the feathers is great. The green BG really makes the blue of the bird stand out.Also great DOF.

I think almost all technical aspects of a bird Photo has been satisfied here. Focus, colors, BG blur and composition. I think what keeps me from 3TU is the stance of the bird. Adduction of the head creates an emotionally closed posture. But still interesting. 2.5TU. Congratulations.

Excellent bird shot dear Dave. It is quite sharp and shallow DOF, made background uniformly blurred. I only wish bird's eye would be clear. TFS, Mehrdad
